Founded by sixth grader Emma Rhoads, Happy Wags is a kid-owned and operated local pet sitting service based in Tampa. Emma is a passionate animal lover and future veterinarian who attends Adum K-8 Magnet School. Inspired by her love for pets and her dream of helping animals in need, she created Happy Wags to provide caring, trustworthy pet sitting for dogs, cats, and caged animals – right in your home or off-site, depending on your pet’s needs.

 

Emma is a frequent volunteer at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and attends their career camps every summer to learn even more about animal care. Her training and hands-on experience ensure that your pets receive loving, reliable, and responsible care. In fact, everyone on the Happy Wags team is trained through the Humane Society!

But Happy Wags isn’t just about excellent pet care – it’s about giving back. A portion of every booking goes directly to our local animal shelter to help animals in need feel safe, healthy, and loved.

With support from her awesome parents (who help with transportation!), Emma is proud to offer a fully insured service that’s as compassionate as it is professional.
